Spring is here (not that we actually had winter)

Well the September long weekend is nearly upon us and we are fully booked and expecting very nice weather from Saturday through to Monday so bring your swimming costumes and board shorts cause the surf temp is still around 21-22c.

The Grange Guest House has individually decorated queen or twin/king bedrooms all state of the art en-suite with shower or bath and shower. We also have a two bedroom family suite with stunning views on the 1st floor, and a huge 40m2 family room on the ground floor with a semi private terrace (part sea view) which is also wheelchair friendly.

Whether spacious and gracious or cosy and comfortable, all rooms at The Grange feature the same comfortable extra long queen or twin (king) beds, quality percale sheets with extra large pillows and duvets, with cotton blankets for the summer months, reverse cycle AC, ceiling fans, 32 inch flat screen wall mounted Tvs with Dstv, clock radio, hair dryer and in room safe (lap top on request).

Bathrooms

All the rooms have state of the art en-suite bathrooms, most with extra large showers framed with elegant frameless glass screens. One standard room has a large shower only while another has a HUGE shower AND bath. All deluxe rooms have full bath and shower and all our showers are min 1.10mx1.10m

Entertainment and Social Interaction

We have a beautiful roof garden on the 1st floor with views to the city and ocean – kick back and watch the ships coming into port – ask for The Indaba Tree room. This is a great place for small groups to gather.

Enjoy a drink on our spacious garden patio with views to the sea and ships off shore, before going out to dinner in one of the many fine restaurants in the area.

Dining

Start your day with a relaxing breakfast on our terrace overlooking the garden, pool and a view to the sea. A buffet breakfast is offered with your eggs cooked to order in our state of the art kitchen.

Coffee is our speciality with espresso, cuppuchino, latte machiato or filter on offer. Specialty teas also available of course and we do a wicked hot chocolate which is very popular with the kids.

Vegetarian (vegan/lacto-ovo) and other special dietary needs catered for.

Other meals such as lunch and dinner are available on request. Quality home style cooking from a range of styles. Melt in the mouth shin beef stew and mushroom risotto are two favorites.
